Happy New Help Desk

Maybe You Should Move Those Away From You by Earl ChinniciI published my first eBook on January 21, 2014 at 3:00 AM Eastern (Midnight Pacific). This eBook, titled “Maybe You Should Move Those Away From You“, provides a detailed account of my journey to break free from a strong addiction to tobacco cigarettes.

As I waited for the moment of the book’s release, I began redesigning the help desk to include an area to showcase my new endeavors as an author and to implement some new features I had been considering for quite some time now. Seeing my book appear as a “new release” was even more fun than “watching the ball drop” on New Year’s Eve. I was very excited at the possibility that this book might soon help many others break free from such a horrific addiction and I was also looking forward to the changes I had planned for this website.

Approximately four hours later, I received an e-mail from a well-known provider of remote access software informing me that they discontinued their “free for home users” version. Since I strive to meet the needs of home users, this change affected a great majority of my clients. I spent many hours over the next five working days notifying people of this change and then many more hours over the following three weeks testing comparable software and considering how this will affect the help desk. Although I cannot honestly say that I am thrilled about this sudden change, I believe I have located several options that will allow me to continue to provide great service to individuals and families at affordable prices. Nonetheless, some changes must be made in order for me to continue.

As I build this new site, I will occasionally add notes to this “Site News” category of my “Writings” to keep you informed of the changes. Thank you for your patience and understanding and for your continued show of support. I appreciate each of you very much.
